Terms of Use
These Terms govern your use of Insight. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms, the Community Guidelines, and the Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility
You must be legally able to agree to these Terms. If local law requires parental or guardian permission for you to use an online service, you may use Insight only with that permission.
2. Your account
- Use Sign in with Apple and provide accurate account information.
- Choose a lawful, appropriate username and display name.
- Do not impersonate another person, celebrity, organization, government body, or official account.
- You are responsible for activity conducted through your account and for protecting access to your Apple account and device.
- Usernames, certification, moderator status, and owner status may be changed or removed when necessary to protect the service.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of content you create. You grant Insight a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, display, and distribute your content only as reasonably needed to operate, improve, secure, and moderate Insight. This license ends when the content is deleted, subject to reasonable technical, moderation, backup, and legal retention.
You confirm that you have the rights needed to publish your content and that it does not violate law, privacy, intellectual-property rights, or these Terms.
4. Acceptable use
You must follow the Community Guidelines. You may not use Insight to:
- Publish hate speech, harassment, threats, pornography, exploitation, or unlawful material.
- Share knowingly false, deceptive, repetitive, spam-like, or valueless engagement content.
- Expose another person’s private information or encourage unsafe behavior.
- Impersonate others or misrepresent certification, authority, or affiliation.
- Infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
- Manipulate likes, follows, reports, views, ranking, certification, or moderation systems.
- Probe, disrupt, reverse engineer, bypass security, or gain unauthorized access to Insight or another account.
- Use automated means to scrape or access the service without written permission.
5. Moderation
Users may report posts, comments, and accounts. Authorized staff may dismiss reports, warn accounts, restrict access, ban accounts, remove or archive content, reverse actions, and preserve audit records. We aim to act fairly but do not guarantee that every decision will be error-free. Moderation does not make Insight responsible for user content.
6. Certification and staff badges
Certification indicates that Insight has chosen to mark an account; it is not an endorsement of every statement or post. Owner and moderator badges identify service roles. Badges may be granted, changed, or removed at Insight’s discretion and may not be copied or misrepresented.
7. Feedback
If you send suggestions or feedback, you allow Insight to use them without restriction or compensation. Do not send confidential information through feedback email.
8. Availability and changes
Insight may change, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, permanent storage, or compatibility with every device or older app version.
9. Termination
You may stop using Insight and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for rule violations, risk to users or the service, legal requirements, or prolonged unavailability. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain effective.
10. Disclaimers
Insight and user content are provided “as is” and “as available,” to the extent permitted by law. User posts may be incomplete, incorrect, or unsuitable for reliance. Insight does not provide medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Verify important information independently.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Insight’s operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost data, lost profits, or harm caused by user content or reliance on the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Apple terms
Your use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple’s applicable App Store terms and Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Apple is not responsible for operating Insight or providing its support.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using Insight and delete your account.
